1st Annual Flowing Wells Elite Softball Camp
Saturday and Sunday August 5th and 6th for ages 6 – 12 from 7 – 10 A.M.
Saturday and Sunday August 12th and 13th for ages 13 – 18 from 7- 10 A.M.

This camp will cover the basic fundamentals of throwing, catching, infield, outfield, batting, and strength/conditioning for softball in ways that culminate elite athletes. The camp will include competitions that will provide a game like atmosphere and prizes will be given out to the winners.

Cost
Cost is $50 for Flowing Wells players registered for fall and $60 for all other participants.

Featuring
Local elite athletes Charissa Ballesteros and Ashley Monceaux. Camp will be headed by Brian Gavre who has worked alongside professional athletes and coaches for over 30 years.


Charissa Ballesteros Bio
Finished the 2010 season at Pima Community College with a batting average of .445 (ranked 16th in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference), 81 RBI's (2nd in the ACCAC), 20 doubles and 101 hits. Batted .367 in 2011 and led the team with seven home runs. Registered a .987 fielding percentage. Named to the All-ACCAC second team. Appeared in five consecutive ASA National Championships with Tucson Elite. 2012 Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll. Started 22 games in her first season at UTEP where she drove in eight runs and went 2-for-4 with two RBI against New Mexico (5/1).

Ashley Monceaux Bio
Lettered for two season at Pima (Ariz.) Community College. Two-time NJCAA Division I All-America selection. As a sophomore, hit .501 with 21 home runs, 92 RBI and 80 runs scored. Went 26-5 on the season as a pitcher, recording 184 strikeouts. As a sophomore, helped lead team to the ACCAC title. Named first-team all conference and all-region as a freshman and sophomore. As a freshman, helped lead team to the NJCAA Division I national championship. Named ACCAC Player of the Year after batting .482 with 19 doubles, 94 hits, 66 runs scored and 79 RBI. Coached in junior college by Stacy Iveson.
